Lethal Luke Humphries powers past Peter Wright as Nathan Aspinall prevails in decider

Night 8 of the 2024 Premier League Darts campaign is underway in Dublin with Luke Humphries and Nathan Aspinall becoming the first men through to the semifinals.

In the opening game of the night, Humphries showed why he is the reigning world champion and world number one with an exquisite performance to comfortably dispatch Peter Wright 6-1, averaging over 106 and firing in a 130 finish and a bull-bull 120 checkout en route.

In the second game of the night, it was Aspinall who started the quicker, racing into a 2-0 lead before a string of missed doubles allowed Rob Cross back into things. In the end, it went all the way to a decider with Aspinall taking the win on double 1.
