Gerwyn Price and
Josh Rock leave Group D and Group B with top of the table spots as they head into the knockout stages of the 2023
Grand Slam of Darts in Wolverhampton.
Price saw off Gian van Veen to start the night and continued his love affair with the venue in an absolutely ridiculous display. 'The Iceman' averaged 112 as he won 5-1 against the Dutchman who offered promise coming into the tournament, but did not deliver.

Josh Rock had already qualified for the latter stages. It was simply all about topping the group for the Northern Irishman and he did that with ease.
He thrashed Berry van Peer who returned to the tournament years on from what looked like a career ender with his dartitis which saw a lot of courage from the Dutchman. But getting back up there, he knows he will be a tour card holder again and play at Ally Pally next month.
While Rock knows he will be in the latter stages as despite an average of just 84, he made short work of Van Peer 5-1 with the latter only hitting 14% on the doubles.
