With a 5-4 win over Berry van Peer in his second group game on Sunday afternoon,
Chris Dobey kept his hopes alive at the
Grand Slam of Darts.
Despite the win, Dobey wasn't too happy with the manner of his victory. "I always do it. I put myself through so so many difficult games when they don't need to be as difficult as that," 'Hollywood' reflected in his post-match interview with Online Darts.

"The pace early doors was perfect and then I think he slowed himself down, regrouped, which it's up to him to do. I struggled with that pace and I was nearly asleep at the end of that game but hey, it's a win so I'll take it!"
For a place in the last sixteen, Dobey now faces Jonny Clayton in a straight shootout where the winner will progress and the loser will go home. "Jonny is one of my best mates. Obviously, we spend a lot of time together, but it's a shootout," he says of the tie. "I'm just pleased to give myself a little chance and hopefully things go right me."
