Graham Usher will realise a darting dream of becoming a PDC Tour Card holder in 2023-2024 after defeating Adam Warner in the final of PDC UK Q-School Final Stage Day Two in Milton Keynes.
Warner went 5-3 up in the tie but nerves seemed to get the better of him on his throw and Usher saved his skin.
He produced a 14-darter to send it all the way and with Warner down to a finish, Usher hit a 180 to leave 36 which he pinned for the match.
It has been a superb week for 'The Gambler' who won through the opening stage and today has seen off Jim McEwan, Christopher Holt, Dylan Slevin, Lee Budgen, Jarred Cole, Lee Evans and finally Warner who will be gutted but will put himself on a good points total going into the penultimate day.
This furthered by the fact that Usher himself was top of the Order of Merit for most of today after a good points haul yesterday so drops off now he has sealed it outright. Corey Cadby was the other winner with 'The King' returning to the PDC Tour through the parallel Q-School in Kalkar, Germany.
