Grant Sampson stuns Devon Petersen en route to African Qualifier win, seals PDC World Darts Championship debut

Grant Sampson is set to make his PDC World Darts Championship debut in December after winning the African Qualifier in Cape Town on Sunday.

Sampson dumped out nine-time World Championship qualifier, Devon Petersen who will now have to rely on the ProTour or PDPA Qualifier to seal a spot at Ally Pally.

The 40-year-old Cape Town native defeated Laezeltrich Wentzel 8-3 dropping to his knees after sealing the win joining 13 players confirmed so far from the International Qualifiers with more taking place in the coming weeks.
