2022 World Grand Prix in numbers including tournament average, sets and legs played and deciding sets

Last week the 25th edition of the World Grand Prix was played. This tournament was eventually won by Michael van Gerwen, who defeated Nathan Aspinall 5-3 in the final battle. The event was summarized in numbers by statistician Philipp Wolff.

A total of 31 games were played. These matches resulted in 114 sets played. Not once was an average above 100 recorded, while the tournament average was 86.33.

A total of 212 171+ scores were thrown, of which no less than 182 was the maximum 180 score. The overall finish percentage was 36.96 percent, while 65 finishes of a hundred or more were thrown, with 167 being the highest. This check-out was thrown by Van Gerwen.
