Beau Greaves last month sealed four consecutive Women's Series titles after not playing in the PDC tournaments for a long time and speaking at the start of September, she discussed the thought process behind not playing previously.
"I just didn't feel ready at all, I wasn't too fussed. It came to the Germany one and it was the first one to qualify for the World Matchplay so I thought I'll give that one a go. I just felt like I wanted to do it and thought that was enough to see what it was like," said Greaves to Tungsten Tales.
"I did want to play a lot and get used to it. There were long days but it was enjoyable, it was a good standard. I look forward to the next ones."
Alongside all the praise has come the criticism as ever and she spoke about dealing with the critics and how she is ready for more as she gets more successful.
"You've just got to deal with it, everyone is entitled to their own opinion whether or not people want to say it or not is different but it's one of those things, it'll probably get worse the better you do. It's just jealousy I think at the end of the day. I'm not too fussed but you can't get away from them."
All roads will also lead to Lakeside with Greaves set to defend her World title next year. "I don't know when it's going to be on. That'll be harder but a good challenge I think for myself."
