Beau Greaves has resumed her dominance in the PDC Women's Series to end the first weekend of the 2023 season in Leicester winning Event Four defeating Robyn Byrne 5-0 in the final on Sunday evening.
Greaves ended a run of 10 titles and 70 wins to Mikuru Suzuki in Event Three and spoke after defeating Byrne that she was relieved to have it over and start afresh as it was starting to affect her.
But Suzuki was a foe again in this tournament and nearly made it back-to-back, she missed match darts against the WDF World Champion who went on to seal the win and then eased past the Irishwoman in the final who has done her Women's World Matchplay hopes a world of good.
Her only flourish was missing the bull for a 170 during the tie but Greaves sealed the whitewash in the end and alongside Suzuki ends as the dominant force once more.
Fallon Sherrock sits down in 7th with Lisa Ashton down in 9th, both way off the leaders after the opening weekend and will be looking to bounce back next time out to keep their World Championship hopes alive at this early stage.
