Across the world, romantics celebrate their love for one another on February 14th. For the recently crowned 2025 PDC World Darts Championship winner Luke Littler, the love on Valentine's Day was all sent in the direction of the Sid Waddell Trophy.
Littler made history on January 3rd at the Alexandra Palace, becoming the youngest darts world champion in the history of the sport after a comprehensive 7-3 victory over three-time former winner Michael van Gerwen in the final. As is becoming the custom of the newly-crowned world champ, Littler followed in the footsteps of the likes of Peter Wright, Michael Smith and Luke Humphries by posing for a picture in bed with the trophy afterwards. Now, on Valentine's Day, Littler has chosen to reshare this image to his official Instagram, with the caption 'Happy Valentine's Day love," showing off his love for the most prestigious trophy in darts.
To celebrate a darting-themed Valentine's Day, here is a little 'roses are red' poem of our own!
Roses are red,
Van Gerwen wears green.
But in the world final,
Luke Littler reigned supreme!
