The action is at the halfway stage on Night 17 of the PDC Home Tour with victories for John Henderson, Damon Heta and Krzysztof Kciuk so far in proceedings leaving it still wide open.
Henderson began proceedings with a 5-4 win over Kciuk. It was a match that was close throughout with 'The Highlander' holding the edge with three 180's overall but this helped in seeing off 'The Thumb' who's scoring wasn't as high despite hitting 4/8 on his doubles compared to 5/13 from Henderson.
Heta who is playing from Australia in the early hours of the morning in Perth whitewashed
Gary Blades in a brilliant start. He hit three 180's and 96.3 average en route.
It was two defeats in a row for Blades as he lost out to
Krzysztof Kciuk in a 5-3 defeat. 'The Thumb' hit high checkouts of 139 and 104 to keep himself in the running to claim the
PDC Home Tour group.
Every evening, the four players will each face off; with each match being the best of nine legs. This group stage lasts 32 days with that amount of players set to reach the next round to play it out from there to crown a winner.
