Heta came into this tie as the underdog despite him winning a TV title; he showed why he won that tie in Brisbane after a 93 average and 31 percent on the doubles.
Heta took first blood hitting an 80 checkout for the first leg on throw. De Sousa though from there went 2-1 up in the set with a break of throw; but couldn't finish it off from there as it was sent to a decider but 'The Heat' turned it on hitting double eight to win the opening set 3-2.
Heta went into double 11 inside of double 14 when going for a hold of throw; but he was given another opportunity by De Sousa which he took to make it 1-1.
De Sousa hit a 69 checkout to move 2-1 up in the second set; but Heta forced a decider and he used this to his advantage going one set away from a brilliant victory; with a 94 average at the time.
De Sousa took out 84 to make it 1-1 in the third set as he attempted to keep himself in proceedings and despite him going one away, Heta forced a decider with a clutch double two and hit a 100 checkout to win.
