The thirty Players Championship tournaments for 2022 are over with Damon Heta finishing top of the one year Players Championship Order of Merit.
Heta won two tournaments this year, while losing a final once. The Australian, however reached a lot of semi-finals with seven in total which also yielded 4000 pounds seven times.
With a total of £82,750 in prize money, he was well ahead of Luke Humphries (71,250) and Nathan Aspinall (£68,500).
Also in the top ten were Dirk van Duijvenbode, Rob Cross and Michael Smith as well as World Number One, Gerwyn Price and World Champion, Peter Wright.
Michael van Gerwen is well down in 22nd after using the ProTours as time off in the most part after winning a title early on as well as a few early exits when he did play.
Going further up, Josh Rock after his superb debut season finished just outside the top ten in 11th spot with Minehead being the goal for this Order of Merit and holds the key to the seedings.
