This week the PDC Europe Super League is on the schedule. Here 24 German players compete for spot at the World Darts Championship in Alexandra Palace. The pools for the first group stage are now known.
On both Monday and Tuesday, all darters will play once against the other players in the group. So during the first phase, a player will play a total of ten matches. The four best darters per group will advance to the second stage, which will consist of two groups of eight players.
Group A includes Tour Card holder Florian Hempel, and Fabian Schmutzler, who made his debut at the World Darts Championship last year at the age of 16.
Ricardo Pietreczko and Dragutin Horvat are the best-known names in Group B, while Max Hopp and Nico Kurz are assigned to Group C. In Group D are Lukas Wenig and Rene Eidams, among others.
