Just moments after Gerwyn Price posted a European Tour record 112 average, Luke Humphries threatened to eclipse it before slipping to just 111 in victory over Ryan Joyce at the German Darts Grand Prix.

Humphries impressed again at the German Darts Grand Prix, having already thrown a 108.68 average on Sunday against Luke Woodhouse (6-3) earlier in the tournament. In the third round against Ryan Joyce, Humphries added to that and made it 6-2 thanks to an average of 111.63. Humphries came up with a 12-darter and two 13-darters, among others.

The Dutchman then made it 5-1 with an 11-darter, before Cross was able to add another leg with an 18-darter. In the eighth leg, Noppert ended the match via a 16-darter.
