The fifteenth Players Championship of the year was a triumph for Luke Humphries. In the final, he defeated Dave Chisnall 8-7.
The highest average came in the name of Niels Zonneveld. The 24-year-old Dutchman did not get much out of it though, because despite an average of 109.44 he went down 6-2 against Christian Kist in the opening round. Kist posted an average of 107.36 that match, which was the second highest average of the day.
Completing the top three is Ryan Searle, who averaged 107.31 during his 6-3 victory at the last 64 against Gabriel Clemens.
