Mensur Suljovic will head into the final day facing off against Joe Cullen for a spot in the semi-finals at the European Championship.
Suljovic is on home soil this weekend in Salzburg and said post match he will do his best to win the title after a narrow win over Florian Hempel.
"I couldn't see if the last dart was in but it's a brilliant feeling," said Suljovic. "I gave it my best and I played good darts. I'm feeling good and I'm so happy.
"I won my last tournament in Austria [at a European Tour event in 2019] and I will give it my best tomorrow. The crowd is brilliant and I have nothing to lose."

- It happens. Remember, anyone who has watched German and Dutch players in matches - their respective countries will have seen/heard just as bad jeering (if not worse). - Was watching an old World Masters final the other day between Eric Bristow and John Lowe, the crowd respect for both players on throw was first class, not a sound. You can imagine now the idiots who were whistling on De Deckers throw proudly boasting about it on social media. I blame the PDC to a certain extent though doubt they really care as they win regardless of which player wins or loses.Mysstree16-11-2024
