The evening session has begun at the
Baltic Sea Darts Open with
Ritchie Edhouse,
Graham Usher and home hero
Lukas Wenig into the second day of action in Kiel.
Wenig was the main story with the home hero set to split the support when he faces Martin Schindler tomorrow. He thrashed Ryan Meikle 6-1 and looked on course for a whitewash at one point.
Producing a 90 average, he ended it in style with a superb 160 checkout to send the crowd into raptures against an out of sorts Barber who had a bad day at the office.
The same can be said for Ryan Joyce who allowed debutant Graham Usher to miss 25 darts at doubles en route to a 6-3 defeat.
It was a battling display from 'The Gambler' who produced four 180's en route to victory, while it was a more simpler task for Ritchie Edhouse.
'Madhouse' saw off Shaun Wilkinson 6-2 and hit three 180's in opening proceedings. While Usher returns to face Gerwyn Price, it is Dimitri van den Bergh tomorrow afternoon for Edhouse.
