The
Bahrain Darts Masters is due for its return once again for the fourth staging between January 15-16 at Exhibition World taking place at the Sakhir International Circuit, home of the F1 Bahrain Grand Prix.
Stephen Bunting is defending champion and returns to defend his crown. He defeated Gerwyn Price 8-4 and both will be involved in Saudi Arabia too the week after. Others involved include Luke Littler and Luke Humphries, the former being a previous champion in the event. While Gian van Veen also makes his full World Series bow. As World No.3, it will be a status he will need to get used to.
He will now add World Series and Premier League to his calendar in 2026 and it all begins in January. Michael van Gerwen will be involved this year after skipping the 2025 edition while Danny Noppert and Nathan Aspinall make up those involved. The leading duo perhaps in the mind of many who missed out on the Premier League instead getting a chance on the World Series to strut their proverbial darting stuff.
Josh Rock and Jonny Clayton are the only players not to be involved. While Chris Dobey who was a main stay at times in 2025 as well as Rob Cross aren't involved in the first two either. It is also semi change in regards to the broadcast arrangements. Not changing is that in the UK, ITV4 will host the tournament on their channel live between 5pm - 9pm on Thursday and Friday which comprises the first round and the remainder of the event over the two days.
But albeit it has been done in house anyway for a while but Jacqui Oatley and the team at least in part won't be the same heading towards the first major of the year in the Winmau World Masters. Gabriella Partington w
ill take over hosting duties at least during this event. A familiar face in golf and also on pool on the Matchroom brand, she is close friends with Laura Woods who formerly presented the PDC World Darts Championship in part and has also been involved for some time in PDC content at events.
Partington will be on hosting duties accompanied by Mark Webster, one of the survivors from the prior team with Wayne Mardle also heavily rumoured to be doing some work for ITV during the next year alongside his Sky Sports work. She will be in the Middle East working, but not in Milton Keynes for the Masters.
The event will be shown not only in the UK but also further afield in the US and Australia. A PDCTV subscription will give fans the chance to watch it all over the world apart from in select territories. Fans in Australia should look to Foxtel Group platforms such as Foxtel and Kayo Sports but if not PDCTV with a subscription will be available. Meanwhile, in the Netherlands, the entire tournament is once again broadcast in full via Viaplay.
In Germany, it will be DAZN that carry the event as part of their existing agreement. All other territories for the most part will be PDCTV.
