The
Czech Darts Open, scheduled for
September 5-7, 2025, marks the second consecutive week of action on the PDC
European Tour. The event, held at the PVA Expo in Prague, offers another opportunity for top players to compete in a different country and serves as a key stop on the circuit.
It will feature a field of 48 players with the top names subject to withdrawals involved including Luke Humphries, Luke Littler, Michael van Gerwen, Stephen Bunting, Gary Anderson and Gerwyn Price. Peter Wright won the 2023 edition seeing off Dave Chisnall 8-6 in the final. He was eliminated last year early on to Martin Schindler and his season hasn't got much better this year. He returns as does Chisnall.
But it was Luke Humphries who was the champion in 2024. He won his second European Tour title of the year with an 8-1 win over Kim Huybrechts in the final. 'Cool Hand' returns for the first time in a while and the top 16 are joined by the likes of Martin Schindler, Cameron Menzies, Nathan Aspinall, Joe Cullen and Raymond van Barneveld in Prague.
