The 2026
PDC World Darts Championship will once again be shown live and in full on Sky Sports in the UK. Every session will be available to watch on television and via streaming. This year’s tournament at London’s
Alexandra Palace begins on Thursday 11 December and runs through to Saturday 3 January 2025.
Sky has been the home of televised darts in the UK for many years and will again broadcast every match live. With the field expanded to 128 players, fans can look forward to the longest World Championship yet — promising more drama and more action than ever at the sport’s biggest annual event.
As always, the tournament is split into three phases. From 11–23 December, the first and second rounds take place. Following tradition, the reigning world champion opens proceedings, meaning title-holder Luke Littler begins his campaign on the opening night.
A three-day Christmas break follows the 23 December session. The remaining 32 players return on Saturday 27 December, with the third and fourth rounds played right through to Tuesday 30 December. There is no play on New Year’s Eve, giving players the chance to celebrate. The tournament resumes on Thursday 1 January with the quarter-finals, followed by the semi-finals on Friday 2 January. The final of the 2026 World Darts Championship is set for Saturday 3 January, when we’ll discover who is crowned the new world champion at
Ally Pally.
How to watch in the USA, Australia and the Netherlands
Fans outside the UK are also well served for the 2026 tournament. In the United States, live coverage is available through Peacock, which holds the PDC’s American broadcast partnership and streams major events throughout the season.
Viewers in Australia should look to Foxtel Group platforms such as Foxtel and Kayo Sports, which already carry PDC programming in the region and are expected to continue their coverage for the World Championship.
Meanwhile, in the Netherlands, the entire tournament is once again broadcast in full via Viaplay, continuing the platform’s comprehensive rights agreement and offering every session live through both television and streaming.
