Humphries disappointed at World Championship exit after Lim defeat: "I never played well through the whole game"

Luke Humphries bowed out of the 2020/21 PDC World Darts Championship after a brilliant comeback from Paul Lim who won through 3-2.

Humphries took to social media and discussed his disappointment saying that while Lim deserved to win, he should never have given him the chance.

"Gutted to lose there but at the end of the day I never played well through the whole game and Paul hit the right doubles at the right time. I should never have lost that game but I’m not disappointed I felt tired and not myself. Preparation went well beforehand just not today... well done Paul."
