Luke Humphries and
Nathan Aspinall advanced to the quarter-finals of the
Poland Darts Masters in the Polish capital Warsaw on Friday night.
Aspinall played an excellent match against the always-dangerous Croatian darter Boris Krcmar. Thanks to an average of 105, Aspinall won 6-2 over Krcmar with the Croat also averaging over three figures himself but only getting the two legs for his troubles.
Aspinall's doubling prowess was on show with 55% on the outer ring and it is so far so good again on the World Series for the Stockport ace.
Humphries hardly had to exert himself to reach the last eight. Despite an average of 86, 'Cool Hand Luke' posted a 6-0 result against television debutant Nandor Major breezing through.
