Van Gerwen wins five legs in a row in comeback win over Gawlas at Poland Darts Masters, Price ends resistence of Waclawski

Michael van Gerwen qualified for the last eight at the Poland Darts Masters on Friday night. However, it did not go easy against Czech qualifier Adam Gawlas.
The former PDC World Youth Championship finalist led 3-1 against Van Gerwen. However, Van Gerwen then came back strongly to 5-3 with a 13-darter and two 15-darters. With a 14-darter, Van Gerwen then took the win 6-3.
Gerwyn Price also qualified for the quarter-finals in Warsaw. The former world champion triumphed with difficulty 6-3 against qualifier Lukasz Waclawski to qualify for the quarter-finals of this World Series tournament in the Polish capital Warsaw.
He began the tie taking out 156 and missing double 12 for a nine-dart finish before surviving a scare. He will now face Nathan Aspinall.

Where can I watch the Poland Darts Masters live?

The World Series tournament will be broadcast by PDCTV and ITV4 delayed from 9pm. On Friday, the first round will be played from 18:00 to 23:00.
The rest of the tournament will take place on Saturday from 18:00 to 23:00. Then the quarterfinals are scheduled first, followed by the semifinals and finals.

How much prize money is to be won?

The prize fund for this event contains a total of £60,000. However, the prize money won does not count toward the PDC Order of Merit or other money rankings.
All participants are guaranteed £1,250 in prize money. This amount could eventually rise to a sum of £20,000 in prize money for the winner.

What are the World Series of Darts?

World Series tournaments are PDC international events organized to promote the sport beyond its (Western) European borders.
Earlier this year, tournaments also took place in Bahrain, Denmark and the United States, and after the tournament in Poland, tournaments in Australia and New Zealand will also be completed.
