All three ended up with deciding legs and it all began with Humphries impressing in seeing of Jamie Hughes who of course won last time out at the Czech Darts Open. 'Cool Hand' showed class with five 180's and a 12 darter when it mattered to edge out 'Yozza'.
Brown similarly went the distance with 'The Needle' surviving a comeback from his opponent Hannes Schnier and silencing the home crowd in the process.
His opponent was 5-3 behind and seemingly on his way out of the tournament but hit back with a 120 and 155 to force the decider. Brown though claimed the victory in the deciding leg.
Finally it was Mike de Decker who edged out Chris Dobey to move through with all 11 legs going with throw and it was De Decker claiming the throw beforehand who will be thankful for that edging out 'Hollywood' to reach the next round.
