In the third Quarter-Final in a row not to go the distance,
Luke Humphries was an emphatic winner over Joe Cullen at the
Players Championship Finals in Minehead. He faces either Danny Noppert or Michael van Gerwen.
Seeing off Cullen 10-3, it started to go wrong in the first leg for 'The Rockstar' missing six darts at doubles which allowed Humphries to take the lead and like the other games run out 4-1.
Thanks to finishes from 92, 81 and 78, 'Cool Hand Luke' then steamed through to 7-3. After the break, the one way traffic continued with Humphries making it 8-3 with an 11-darter.
Cullen missed chances for 9-4 and from there, Humphries finished it off with a 77 checkout. An average of 103 and a superb display from Humphries.
