Rob Cross is the latest player through to the semi-finals in Minehead at the Players Championship Finals joining Jonny Clayton after a similarly emphatic win 10-3 against Dirk van Duijvenbode.
Van Duijvenbode massively impressed yesterday with a 112 average but couldn't produce that kind of display with Cross averaging 104 in a superb win.
At the first break, Cross surged into a 4-1 lead including a 143 checkout and 11-darter. He eased further towards the finishing line at 8-2 up.
Van Duijvenbode stopped the rot with a 66 checkout at 8-3 down but Cross produced a superb 384 clean up with a 177, 171 and double 18 to go one away before finishing it off with an 11-darter.
