Humphries-Noppert and Searle-Gilding set for Players Championship 19 semi-finals

The semi-finals are confirmed at Players Championship 19 with only one player remaining today yet to pick up a ranking title in Andrew Gilding who continues to produce and has been one of the most improved players on the PDC Tour this season.

He faces Ryan Searle in the second semi-final who edged past Niels Zonneveld 6-4 with a 97 average, while it was a win over Lee Evans for Gilding who didn't produce another ton plus average but was still eased through.

While in the other semi-final, Luke Humphries will not face Rowby-John Rodriguez once more. Instead it will be Danny Noppert who breezed past the Austrian 6-1, while it was a 6-3 success for 'Cool Hand Luke' with a 104 average against Jamie Hughes.
