Hunt reflects after claiming pivotal victory over Clemens: 'I knew what I had to do'

Adam Hunt is through to the second round at the Grand Slam of Darts after defeating Gabriel Clemens from 2-0 down claiming it 5-2.

Hunt was one of two players on Thursday night who won through despite only having two points and speaking afterwards despite it being in the back of his mind what he needed, it didn't discern him.

"I started off slowly against Michael (van Gerwen), played better against Joe and then I finally showed what I can do there against Gabriel so I'm really happy," said Hunt post match.

"I knew what I had to do and I played well. Gabriel when he went 2-0 up, he didn't kick on after that but I did a job so I'm happy."
