Peter Wright has his next opponent confirmed in the defense of his PDC
World Darts Championship with
Kim Huybrechts set for another battle with 'Snakebite' after a professional display against Grant Sampson.
'The Hurricane' blew away the African Qualifier who had his moment against Keane Barry yesterday but couldn't produce another shock win with the Belgian producing an 83 average and a high checkout of 154 in a 3-0 sets win,
Huybrechts missed break chances and Sampson settled early with a hold. ‘The Hurricane’ levelled up but was sat at 1/6 showing frailties on the doubles early on. But sealed the first set with Sampson sitting on a 69 average.
It continued to be a procession as Huybrechts made it six legs from seven with Sampson continuing to average under 70 and ‘The Hurricane’ went one away with a 154 checkout after breaking initially to begin set three. A 72 checkout saw him conclude the job.
