Huybrechts, Noppert and Lennon move into second round in Hasselt

Kim Huybrechts, Danny Noppert and Steve Lennon are the latest players to reach the second round at the Belgian Darts Championship.
Huybrechts became the third Belgian player to move into the last 32 as the Antwerp ace defeated Ryan Harrington 6-2. The Hurricane faces Jeffrey de Zwaan in the second round on Saturday.
Danny Noppert was responsible for the exit of Geert de Vos, as the Dutchman beat him 6-2. Steve Lennon knocked out Rowby-John Rodriguez (6-3).

I was there when he (luckily) won the 96 World Championship, I expected him to win and perfom better in the PDC than he did as he moved over so early when he still had good form. - As prize money increases each year and there are now more tournaments then logically breaking the £2 million barrier is going to happen, only thing preventing it is the now deeper strength in depth of the darting field. If you took Taylor’s best two consecutive years and substituted the prize money from now onto the tournaments he won he would have passed the £2 million.Mysstree26-11-2024
