“I am trying to work my way up the PDC system and it’s going well" - Beau Greaves looking to push herself in 2025

Beau Greaves had a perfect Sunday. The 21-year-old Englishwoman went back to back, with two consecutive tournament wins on the opening weekend of the 2025 PDC Women's Series. In the overall standings, she is now clear in the lead, ahead of nearest challenger, Lisa Ashton.

After ending the first day of action disappointed, Greaves bounced incredible well on Sunday, giving the women's world champion plenty of reasons to be happy. “I am really enjoying the game at the minute, and that’s a big part of my game,” reflected Greaves after taking a thrilling win over Gemma Hayter in final of the 4th tournament of the season. “I am trying to push myself this year. I played at Q School, I’ve had some good wins on the Challenge Tour and I have played my first Pro Tour now."

“I am trying to work my way up the PDC system and it’s going well. Obviously I’m not always going to play well, I am going to have bad games, and I know that," adds Greaves in conclusion. “You have a target on your back, but I quite enjoy that side of the game, and I am just focused on enjoying every game that I play.”

How much prize money is up for grabs at the PDC Women's Series?

If there are at least 128 players competing, the PDC Women's Series participants will be awarded prizes from the last 64, with fifty pounds for reaching this round. If there are fewer than 128 players, the counter only starts running from the last 32. In that case they do collect one hundred pounds.

This amount eventually keeps increasing. A final place already earns 1,000 pounds anyway. The winner of the tournament receives 2,000 pounds in prize money. The number one of the Women's Series Order of Merit gets to compete at the Grand Slam of Darts and the World Darts Championship, while the number two also gets to compete at Alexandra Palace.
