Gerwyn Price continues to show strong form at the start of the 2025 season. The Welshman is into the quarter-finals of the 2025 Dutch Darts Masters in Den Bosch after a 6-2 victory over Danny Noppert, averaging a touch over 101 in the process.

Price was superb last time out on the World Series of Darts in Bahrain and is showing signs of really finding his mojo again. He reeled off four consecutive legs to seal victory with a 101.8 average, three 180's and a 124 checkout and is now set to face Kevin Doets in the last eight.

"I thought I played pretty decent I think," a satisfied Price assessed when addressing the media in his post-match press conference. "I could have been 4-0, which maybe would've been a little harsh on Danny, but yeah, I felt I played well."

After admittedly finding enjoyment hard to come by in 2024, Price has started the new season reinvigorated, something that has seen the crowd really grow in their support of the sport's former pantomime villain. "I love playing up there when people are behind me and cheering me on. When I'm getting results, it is even better," he says. "As long as I'm playing well and I'm confident in my game, then I can win any game."

And with the Winmau World Masters and Premier League Darts coming up, Price could be hitting form at just the right time. "It's a great boost of confidence for me," says 'The Iceman', who as mentioned, has Kevin Doets up next. "I know how well he can play and you know, he played really well against Nathan Aspinall, knocked Michael Smith out of the World Championship in one of the best games of the tournament. So yeah, I know I'm up for a tough game but every game's tough and I'm playing well. There's no reason why I can't win."
