Niels Zonneveld lost his PDC Tour Card late last year, but immediately recaptured it a few weeks later at Q-School.
Zonneveld is doing extremely well on the Pro Tour this year and is currently 96th in the world rankings. "I stopped working since the beginning of this year and can now fully focus on my darts career. That definitely helps," Zonneveld told Darts Actueel..
A minus are the Euro Tours, Zonneveld managed to qualify for only one of the 12 tournaments. "That is obviously far too little. It was the first tournament for which I did manage to qualify, after that I failed eleven times. That really shouldn't be allowed."
The 25-year-old Dutchman therefore knows where he can still make progress. "That is mainly to make sure I lock up matches faster. I often fail on my doubles, giving my opponents extra chances. That is definitely still a point to work on."
