"I think he'll get to Number One in the World when me and him are retired": Wright jokes alongside Van Gerwen on Best Newcomer in Darts

Peter Wright answered some questions from fans via Instagram Stories during a media moment ahead of the US Darts Masters in New York.

The first question was which darter Wright thought was the worst dressed. ''Andrew Gilding, sorry pal,'' was the Scot's response. Another wanted to know his favorite tournament. ''The World Darts Championship, because I've won that one twice.''

Someone was also curious as to which darts Wright will play with in New York. However, 'Snakebite' was unable to answer. ''I don't know yet. I'm not going to decide that until the day itself while at the venue.''

Finally, it was also asked who Wright and fellow darter Michael van Gerwen think is the best newcomer on the circuit.

"Has to be Josh Rock hasn't it", said Van Gerwen. "Yeah Josh Rock. He's just getting better and better. I think he'll get to Number One in the World but it'll be quite a while yet when me and him are retired."
