(VIDEO) Van Gerwen teases Wright on potential final run at US Darts Masters: "That's a while ago eh?"

During a media day in New York, Michael van Gerwen took the time to answer some questions from fans via Instagram Stories.

For example, van Gerwen was asked what his favourite food is. ''I love Asian food. Asian cuisine is absolutely top notch."

Another wanted to know his favourite playing venue. ''Alexandra Palace, but that's also because of the status of the tournament. That makes it special.'' Yet another fan asked 'Mighty Mike' about his favourite walk-on from another player. ''To be honest, I like Michael Smith's, especially now that he is world champion.''

Another question led to a tease from Van Gerwen to Peter Wright. A fan asked both players who will win the US Darts Masters.

"This question is not for Snakebite as the question is who will win the tournament in New York, me. He's laughing in the background boys," said Van Gerwen.

"I'll see you in the final," said Wright to which Van Gerwen quipped. "That's a while ago eh?"
