There's arguably no bigger talent in women's darts currently than Beau Greaves. After her latest history making performance saw her become first female to win a week on the MODUS Super Series, there have again been questions as to whether or not Greaves will attempt to gain a PDC Tour Card.

Although her MODUS success was her first triumph in a TV tournament against the men, Greaves has already showcased her ability to compete against the best in the world at the World Darts Championship and the Grand Slam of Darts. In Wolverhampton, she came agonisingly close to prevailing from a group that included Nathan Aspinall, Damon Heta and Ricardo Pietreczko. Still though, a Q-School appearance has not yet been on the cards.

"I think I'm a really realistic dart player. Even if I got through Q-School and got a Tour Card, I'd get destroyed on that Tour. It would kill me confidence wise," Greaves says in a sit down interview for MODUS Super Series' YouTube page. "I'd have to be playing above myself all the time to get results and why would I want to put myself in that position, when I can play things like this (MODUS Super Series ed.), the Women's Series, the WDF Tour, the Challenge Tour, the Development Tour... I've got so many more doors open to me than I'd have with the PDC."

Greaves has shown herself on the Development Tour already this season. If she manages to finish in the top-2 of the standings at the end of the campaign a PDC Tour Card would automatically be offered to her, although it's not a guarantee that she would accept it.

"Honestly, I don't know if I would accept," she answers after a long, thoughtful ponder. "You have to weigh up your options and what's best for you career-wise. If I got to a point where I was consistently playing well, I don't think it would he a shame to give it a try. But I'd probably say no."
