Ross Smith has convincingly qualified for the second round of the
Hungarian Darts Trophy. 'Smudger' was too strong for Robert Owen in his opening match 6-2.
Smith averaged 100.86. "A few weeks ago,, I wasn't feeling great and I made a few silly mistakes. I've rectified that, my management team pointed a few things out and we adjusted. It's obviously worked well tonight," Smith said.
In the next round, Smith may face
Michael van Gerwen. "I know what I can do. I'm not afraid in any way, shape or form because I know I can go up there and hit 110 average, it's all on the day. I'm going to prepare right and give it my all like I always do."
