"I'm not afraid in any way, shape or form" - Ross Smith ready for clash with Van Gerwen

Ross Smith has convincingly qualified for the second round of the Hungarian Darts Trophy. 'Smudger' was too strong for Robert Owen in his opening match 6-2.

Smith averaged 100.86. "A few weeks ago,, I wasn't feeling great and I made a few silly mistakes. I've rectified that, my management team pointed a few things out and we adjusted. It's obviously worked well tonight," Smith said.

In the next round, Smith may face Michael van Gerwen. "I know what I can do. I'm not afraid in any way, shape or form because I know I can go up there and hit 110 average, it's all on the day. I'm going to prepare right and give it my all like I always do."
