"I'm probably happier now, than when I was Premier League champion" - Glen Durrant 'In a good place' after rough spell

After falling off the Pro Tour, Glen Durrant is currently active on the World Seniors Darts Tour (WSDT) and as an analyst for Sky Sports and Modus.

At his peak, Durrant won three consecutive world titles in the BDO between 2017 and 2019. After moving over to the PDC, 'Duzza' also managed to claim Premier League glory. "A little secret is, I'm probably happier now, than when I was Premier League champion," Durrant tells the BBC.

"It's just good. Life has changed, I had decisions to make, because it hit the skids so quickly. I had to sort of reevaluate very quickly but I'm in a good place now," he continues.

Durrant lost his Tour Card early last year and since then has been in action only sporadically at the Modus Super Series and tournaments within the WSDT.

In addition to darts, Durrant is also a big football fan, as seen by his Middlesbrough inspired red and white darts shirt. "I think when i took my Lakeside trophy onto the Riverside pitch, that was the best day of my dsrting life," Durrant reflects.

"If someone would have said I'd have won three Lakeside titles and rhe Premier League, I'd have snapper your hand off."
