Luke Littler was impressive on Saturday night as he eased into the last 16 of the
Austrian Darts Open. 'The Nuke' defeated second-seeded Damon Heta 6-2 in the second round.
With an average of 106.02, Littler impressed again. "In the first few legs me and Damon weren’t at our best, but I managed to switch on,” Littler reflects of the tie post-match. "I’m really happy with the way I played in those last four legs. When you find it, you just find it, and hopefully I can play like that tomorrow.”
Littler will take on Krzysztof Ratajski in the third round. "At the Belgian Darts Open I won over him. If I reach the same level against him as I did against Damon, I should definitely be able to beat him again," Littler assesses.
The 17-year-old Englishman won Night 13 of the 2024 Premier League Darts last Thursday. "But I'm not exhausted yet and want to win again this weekend. I realize it will possibly be a long day, but I am fully ready."
