Mike De Decker and
Jermaine Wattimena are active at the 2024
Grand Slam of Darts this week. Last Wednesday, they joined a group of Wolverhampton schoolchildren and local boxer Conah Walker for the latest Bullseye Maths session. They gave the kids a great day.
The PDC's Bullseye Maths program promotes math skills, with sessions featuring number-based games and worksheets to engage elementary school students in math and darts.
On Wednesday, a group from a local Aldersley school attended a special Bullseye Maths session during Grand Slam of Darts at the Wolverhampton venue. They were joined by World Grand Prix champion De Decker and European Championship finalist Wattimena.

"Since we launched Bullseye Maths in 2022 we've enjoyed many fun sessions and this was a great afternoon spent with Woden Primary School," said Bullseye Maths coordinator Gary Horsley, who led the session, to the
PDC afterwards. "Mike and Jermaine were brilliant with the pupils and shared their experiences with maths, and it was a bonus to have a local sports star like Conah join us too."
The Grand Slam of Darts is now over for Mike De Decker, the 28-year-old Belgian lost 10-9 to Luke Littler in the last sixteen. Jermaine Wattimena did manage to qualify for the quarter-finals after a 10-9 win against Dimitri Van den Bergh. 'The Machine Gun' will take on Littler in the quarterfinals on Saturday night. The winner of that game will meet the winner of the match between Gian van Veen and Gary Anderson on Sunday afternoon in the semifinals.
