"It's going to be horrible": Howson not looking forward to potentially ending Anderson's career at World Seniors Darts Masters

The long and storied career of the legendary Bob Anderson will come to an end at World Seniors Darts Masters. The man facing 'the Limestone Cowboy' in the first round, Richie Howson admits a win would be bittersweet.

"It's going to be very hard," Howson tells Live Darts. "You're playing someone who's been at the very top and they're bowing out. I want to win, trust me. But it's going to be horrible if I do. You've just got to try and blank it out. Go up there, look at that board and play your own game," Howson concludes.

So far on the World Seniors Darts Tour, Howson has been somewhat of a nearly man. One of the most consistent players, 'the Owl' is yet to taste victory. However, with a growing reputation comes added pressure.

"Everyone wants to win, and they're all going to be playing their best darts," he says. "If I can run deep in it I'll be very happy but I'm in no way expecting to get to the final and win it."
