Jenson Walker, Ashley Coleman, Harry Gregory and Harry Lane qualified for the UK Open through the Rileys Amateur Qualifiers last weekend. At this televised tournament, sixteen qualifiers also get a chance to compete with the world's top players.
Walker was the best at the qualifying tournament in Solihull. The 17-year-old Englishman won 5-1 over Ryan Hawkes in the final. Fellow teen, Gregory took the final victory in Liverpool. The 18-year-old darter defeated Lee Palfreyman 5-1 in the final.
Coleman, who many will know from 'The Darts Referee' YouTube channel, managed to fight his way through the field of competitors in Norwich. The 'Prince of Darkness' survived three leg-deciders before triumphing 5-1 against Brandon Western in the final fight. Lane won the qualifier in London Victoria.
