Distribution of prize money and WDF points during Dutch Open Darts 2024

From Thursday, February 1 to Sunday, February 4, the Dutch Open Darts 2024 is on the program in Assen. This tournament, which has 'platinum status' on the WDF calendar, means that substantial prize money and WDF points can be earned for the participants.
The winner of the men's tournament will be awarded 270 WDF points and a cheque for 5,000 euros. The runner-up will receive 167 points and 2,500 euros. Prize money will be awarded from the last 128, while WDF points will be awarded one round later.
In the ladies, the winner will receive a prize of 2,500 euros, while the losing finalist will receive 1,250 euros. The distribution of WDF points for women is the same as for men. However, prize money for ladies starts only from the last 32.

- I completely agree with Vincent's comments on "whistlegate". It's great to have someone with Vincent's exprience address this issue, so hopefully clearer and stricter guidlelines can be given to referees, security and members of the crowd. No whistling during throws, and something like: whistlers evicted and fined a hefty sum.
