Jermaine Wattimena advanced to the last sixteen at the Belgian Darts Open in Wieze on Saturday afternoon. 'The Machine Gun' won handsomely in the second round against Ross Smith.
Wattimena broke Smith in the fourth leg with a beautiful 86 finish and then made it 4-1 with a stunning 12-darter. Via a 14-darter and a 17-darter, Wattimena eventually won 6-2.
The match between Ricardo Pietreczko and Luke Woodhouse was a lot more exciting. Woodhouse led 3-1, but was trailing 5-3 four legs later. He came back to 5-5, but Pietreczko then decided the match with a 16-darter.
