As the third round begins at the 2024 UK Open, the second round is heading towards its conclusion with John Henderson and Leonard Gates among the leading names marching on in Minehead.
Henderson, a popular figure with darting fans will now face Gian van Veen for a spot in tonight's draw. He saw off Dom Taylor in a 6-5 win to continue his run. Leonard Gates over on Stage Two took down Rhys Griffin in a 6-3 win to continue his run as a Riley's qualifier.

Wessel Nijman produced one of the best displays of the day so far with a 103 average to see off Niels Zonneveld 6-4. Over on the Main Stage, Jacques Labre and Jeffrey de Zwaan are through to the third round. Other victors include Josh Payne, Benjamin Drue-Reus, Lee Evans, Joshua Richardson, Danny Lauby, Jarred Cole, Wesley Plaisier and Graham Usher.
