The 158 participants at the 2024
UK Open Darts are going to share a total of 600,000 pounds in
prize money from Friday, March 1 to Sunday, March 3. The winner of the tournament will take home more than a £100,000.
To qualify for prize money, participants must reach at least the last 128. The top-96 in the world rankings are already guaranteed a cash prize. Players between spot 1 and 32 in the world rankings will enter from the last 64, while numbers 33-64 will start from the last 96. Numbers 65 to 96 will play from the last 128 at the UK Open.
The remaining participants enter in the first or second round of the tournament. Thus, they must win one match to retain money from the ’FA Cup of Darts’.
Reaching the last 128 is rewarded with £1,000, a further round earns £1,500. Upon winning your match at the last 96, that amount is increased to 2,500 pounds. Reaching the last 64 is already good for 2,500 pounds.
For anyone who makes it to the second day of the UK Open, the counter is already £5,000. If you make it to the last sixteen at the UK Open, 10,000 pounds will be credited to your account and PDC ranking. On the final day of the UK Open, the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final will be played.
The players who qualify for the final day are guaranteed a check for 15,000 pounds. That amount can rise to £30,000 for reaching the semifinals at the UK Open. The losing finalist gets 50,000 pounds and the winner 110,000 pounds.
