Jules van Dongen becomes stablemate of Michael van Gerwen and Joe Cullen among others at Winmau Darts

Jules van Dongen has made the switch from darts manufacturer Loxley to Winmau Darts. This supplier has world top players such as Michael van Gerwen, Danny Noppert, Vincent van der Voort, Joe Cullen and Simon Whitlock in their stable.

Van Dongen, also known as "The Dutch Dragon," broke into the North American darts scene in 2020. He also captured his Tour Card with the PDC in 2022, allowing him to go down the Pro Tour circuit.

The Dutch American had a good last six months in 2023, in which he managed to force placement for the World Darts Championship. However, it was too little to keep his Tour Card, so Van Dongen will rejoin the Q-School in January to try to win another Tour Card.

Simon Hall, Marketing Director at Winmau, is pleased with Van Dongen's signing. “We’re delighted to have secured someone of Jules Van Dongen’s talent and character, particularly with the growth of Darts in the USA. We’re incredibly excited by what we believe Jules can achieve in the world of Darts and we’re committed in helping him reach his potential.”
