Kay claims second title of the season on UK Development Tour

Keelan Kay took the title in the ninth tournament of the PDC UK Development Tour on Saturday afternoon. He triumphed in the final against Killian Heffernan (5-4).

On his way to the final the Englishman had beaten the likes of Nathan Care (4-3), Callum Loose (4-1), Connor Arberry (5-4) and Ciaran Teehan (5-4).

Because of the corona pandemic, this circuit has been split into a separate tour for UK and European players. The Development Tour ranking is based on the prize money earned.

At the end of the season, the winners of both rankings (European and UK Development Tour) receive an invitation to the upcoming Grand Slam of Darts, the PDC World Darts Championship and a Tour Card for 2022 and 2023.
