Keelan Kay adds maiden title with PDC UK Development Tour Event Two win

Keelan Kay finally has his maiden PDC Development Tour title after seeing off Dom Taylor in the final of Event Two in Milton Keynes.

Kay has been honing his craft during lockdown and has been a real feature of online competitions such as the MODUS events and Online Darts League, he now has his reward.

In the latter stages, he took down Joe Davis (4-0), Conor Heneghan (5-3), Liam Meek (5-3) before denying 'Skyscraper' who reached a second consecutive final.

This tour is open to players between the ages of 16 and 23, provided they are not in the top-32 of the regular world ranking on January 4, 2021.

The Development Tour ranking is based on the prize money won. At the end of the season, the winners of both rankings (European and British Development Tour) will receive an invitation to the upcoming Grand Slam of Darts, the World Darts Championship and a Tour Card for 2022 and 2023.
