The second tournament of the day on the PDC European Development Tour has gone the way of Rusty-Jake Rodriguez in Niedernhausen who has seen off Jeroen Mioch in the final.
Rodriguez won a tournament on the Development Tour back in 2017 and has continued his brilliance which has seen the Austrian ace become a main stay on the ProTour this season.
He joins Jurjen van der Velde in the winners circle after seeing off the likes of Brent Plaisier (4-3), Tomas Houdek (5-3) and Maikel Verberk (5-4) in the latter stages.
This tour is open to players between the ages of 16 and 23, provided they are not in the top-32 of the regular world ranking on January 4, 2021.
The Development Tour ranking is based on the prize money won. At the end of the season, the winners of both rankings (European and British Development Tour) will receive an invitation to the upcoming Grand Slam of Darts, the World Darts Championship and a Tour Card for 2022 and 2023.
